I think it could be considered cool-intermediate. So probably would be OK at room temps. Mine seems to have done just fine through the summer. (Cools off at night but it has still seen plenty of heat)

But as far as I know it’s fine at room temp. Andy’s puts the high temp at 95. The only disappointing thing was that my automated misting system ruined the fringe within hours, now it just looks...frizzy.

Well, more flowers will be along... maybe you can position it so that it doesn't take a direct hit. The fringes certainly can survive getting wet - my plant gets a daily bath from sprinklers, and gets rained on, but it does get a chance to dry out. While my summer temperatures usually aren't much above the mid-80's F, sometimes can be a good bit warmer. When it is very dry, I water again in the afternoon. So "rain" and "humidity" at my house both come from a hose.
