My first Masdevallia I've had bloom
This s a Masdevallia Someone gave to me. Didn't think I could keep it alive. It now has this flower plus two other buds.
Thanks for looking.

Masdevallia
I grow mine in clay pellets. They get fed DynaGrow. Its under lights near the floor to stay cool.

That is SO interesting!
What a big DUH for me!!!
Floor space might be the answer to some of my temperature "issues"
Thanks
Love the Masdie too

Congrats.
I have become an expert at killing Masdevallia. 3 of them have found their way to Masdevallia Heaven. I suspect I did not keep them cool enough. I may need to try the basement floor trick.....if I get brave enough to try again.

Congratulations!
I haven't been successful with Masdevillia so far - then one I had unluckily didn't survive.
