First, you need to understand that fans are not intended to create a breeze on the plants, they are needed to prevent pockets of air stagnation. A fan blowing anywhere in the room will likely do that, even if pointed away from them. If you have fixed air heating, you probably don’t even need that.

Second, the only way you’ll be able to increase the humidity around only a small part of your grow room is to enclose that part. Nature wants to spread the water vapor evenly throughout that room, and out into less-humid parts of the house and into the atmosphere.

If you’re able to keep the entire room sufficiently humid, don’t bother.
