Restrepia Falkenbergii + aborted shoots
Hi - first time growing restrepias. I've had this plant for a couple of months now, growing in a north facing window. We're through the hot summer months and currently between 16-21c daily. I have it mounted up on some hygrolon type material (yes, got a bit carried away - makes more sense for the dracula that is also on there.)
Funny thing is, this plant seems to send up new shoots that then die off once they are about an inch long. Wait a week and then a couple more try again. Is this plant not getting enough light? Or is it fertiliser? It can't be entirely unhappy as one of the existing grown leaves is launching a bloom right now.
Any pointers appreciated!
