I'm using a terrarium for these orchids, so I've tried to only get intermediate to warm growing species.

This is evolving to a general Pleurothallid collection, but I'll try my best to keep a Masdevallia picture per post to not stray from the title

She's in the middle of nowhere, but a member of the Kansas Orchid Society if that helps.

I got the Stelis mystax, Pleurothallis rubella, Masdevallia glandiflora, and Platystele mystax from her. Excellent plants, all but the Masd have bloomed in my care since.

So she doesn’t sell to the public, right?

You have a great start for you collection. I kept mine in terrariums as well under cool bright conditions. I hope to restart my collection in the future.

Recently I've had Masdevallia glandulosa and one of my M. nidifica bloom. This nidifica appears typical, the other is supposed to be on the red side.

Hi, I think both look typical. The M. glandulosa looks like the other I have seen and owned. It's a great little species, well worth the effort.

Ah yes, I was referring to my other M. nidifica not pictured. I've not had it bloom yet, time will tell!
