A teal Lepanthes
Not really a color I ever expected to see on an orchid, but here we are...
This was sold to me as a Lepanthes lucifer, im assuming it’s mislabeled, and it’s bloomed a few times with these funky colors. I’ve even tried changing the conditions around (lighting and temps) to see if that had any effect, only thing that happened was the flower was a bit more translucent. It reminds me of rainbow sherbet and I love the little teal “horns” . I’m not sure exactly what this is but I dig it.

That's a keeper for sure. Love it. Mutations rock!

Takes me back to the 90s. When you exhibit it be sure to wear a business suit with giant shoulder pads.

That's a bit humanoid. I'm a sucker for those teal eyes! Nice job.
SaraJean, what are your growing conditions? I'm especially curious about how warm you feel it yours can be grown. Thanks.

This has me cracking up! All I could think of when this flower first opened was electric blue mascara (which I totally admit to swiping from my grandma. Like nobody would notice I had bright blue lashes? Ahh the mind of an 8 eye at old...). My little lucifer is getting gussied up for a night on the town

And thanks y’all! It’s a cool looking orchid even if I don’t really know what it is

I’ve been keeping this in my warm terrarium where, on the high end, temps can occasionally get in the mid To upper 80’s, normally it’s 78°-82°F. Nights are anywhere between 72°-68° in the summer and 60° in the winter. Humidity is always at 90% or above
