Received this in bud from I.N. Komoda Orchids last week, started opening this morning!

That's a cutie, Sue. I can't get mine to grow, but you are in Florida, so there must be hope for me! I thought they cool growers???? Congrats on such a cute bloom!

OK First let me say
Second,
M. triangularis is a cool to intermediate and M. vargasii is an intermediate. So if I had to guess, which I am, I would say to grow it with 50-56 F at night and 55-68 in the day.
Very nice Sue!! I love these Hybrids. Masdies are probably the one genus I would not mind having so many hybrids.

Hey!
I found a spike and bud on this today!!!

The bloom above came from a plant that was in bud when I got it. The new spike/bud means that I can grow these guys!!!

Tin, my temps get higher than those numbers. I now have all of these IN Komoda Masdies inside the house, in the Exo-Terra tank as it was way too hot for them outside. In the tank, they get a temp of about 78 degrees with the light on and the fan blowing.
All the other Masdies are fresh out of their compots so it'll be a while but they all look great!

I am SO excited!!! Will post pics as soon as this baby opens!
