Hummingbirds are wonderful little creatures. They arrive here around May 1st and we have three generations of them. We put out 3-1 gallon feeders on our front porch and people who walk by can see them from the road and think at first they are bee swarms because there are so many of them. I have five perennial gardens besides the feeders, so it's hummingbird, finch, bluebird, and tree swallow heaven around here in the summertime. We also get a pair of Baltimore Orioles passing through.
