Carrie, I'm glad Santa brought what was promised:-))) Great set, you will have a lot of fun with it! It is always tricky to figure out at the beginning what settings to use for macro, so play with it:-) The remote and tripod is really useful when doing macro. Very nice pics!

Congratulations, love the one of the kingianum flower. A 100mm macro is a great lens for orchid shots, that's what we use for all the small flowers.

Just did the same with a Canon EOS 7D, a 60mm macro, I already have the tripod, got to care about softening the lightning now. ^^

I got a 100mm lens for my Canon XTi and a Bogen (Manfrotto) tripod. That tripod is solid as a rock! I also got a Macro rail which is pretty handy on the tripod |
