Great links!!!

Here is a shot of spore capsule of a moss that grows in my terrarium. Very small.

Some very nice shots, Ceasar! Ah to have a macro lens.....

How high a humidity level does that grass-like moss require?

The photos look great!

BTW, your photos helped answer a question. I collected a little sphagnum to start a small pot of it at home. What you have identified as Calypogeja and a liverwort, I thought was another moss growing with the sphagnum, but did not know for sure. Interesting to see that this is a liverwort; the liverworts that I was familiar with were always larger & growing on rocks. Thanks for teaching me something!

You were probably familiar with the thalloid liverworts, this is a type of leafy liverwort. These I think are much more interesting. The leaf arrangements come in either succubus or incubus format. I love those words.

Oooh, fun toys! Can you take a photo of something with a known size like a coin? Just to really demonstrate what it can do

I am so freaking jealous! I want a macro lens so badly since I have so many Pleurothallids with teeny tiny flowers.....

Read this thread today, and it sealed the deal to get one. Got the Canon EF-S 60mm f/2.8 USM. Love this forum and all that I learn here!
