Macrophotography article on Orchid Digest
My article on imaging small orchid flowers just got published in the Orchid Digest July-August issue, including front and back covers. It discusses imaging from life size to about 40x mag, including z-stacking, both with SLR as well as stereomicroscope. On the higher mag shots you can count the cells in the flowers. It is moderately technical, with details of effective f-stop, maximum advantageous f-stop, airy discs, and diffraction blur.
