Wow! Lol. Thanks for all the info! My husband got this one for me at SAMs. It is one of those silly Just Add Ice orchids. It had no more information other than to just add ice once a week. That's it. Glad I researched more appropriate care! I have already found a local orchid shop for my next ones. Thanks again everyone!

Hope you will go to AOS website or check out other sources for care instructions. Phalaenopsis are tropical epiphytes from SE Asia and absolutely should not have ice cubes placed on the roots for watering. Meanwhile enjoy your first plant..be careful orchid fever is very contagious!
