WOC Announces Photography Contest!

You can check with Marty to see if he has any more. We also have a tear-off sheet which was designed last year and a number of vendors I know have posted them in their greenhouses:

As far as the photography contest goes, I have participated in the Miami International Orchid Show photo contest for the past 2 years. I placed first in two categories last year.

Prints should measure no more than 11 x 14 inches, or 8x10 inches.

A matte is essentially a frame of a special thin but tough cardboard called mat board. Generally, the mattes are cut to be 16x20 inches for the 11x14 photos, and 11 x 14 for the 8x10s.

I encouroage everyone here who has ever taken a photograph of an orchid that they would hang on a wall to enter this contest!



I hope no one ever really mattes a print with sandpaper! LMAO!
