Searching for a dead ringer! -- San Francisco
Default Searching for a dead ringer! -- San Francisco

Hello everyone, I posted earlier in 'Searching for The Vanilla," and have decided my chances of getting a bloom or even a good bud for this photoshoot are too slim.
Does anyone in the San Francisco area happen to know of a nursery or shop that might carry an orchid that resembles vanilla, that we'd have a chance of getting a bloom from in about two weeks? Preferably white blooms, but I've seen Phaius takervilliae alba, or Brassavola glauca do a pretty good job!
I'm very lucky to have a good friend who is an expert in the area, and he's going to look at the orchid show this weekend. But I've found this forum so helpful, and it's great to be able to tap into so much knowledge! Thanks very much for your advice!
