I lived in Puyallup for 30 years, had a good view of the mountain from there. I miss it soooo much...but move back? Never in a million years....Jean

Thanks for looking, FD and VJO. We've lived in the south as well and loved, but I'd have a hard time moving away from Washington. And, as for hiking, there is always something to find.

I haven't even seen all the pictures yet, just spent the last 20 minutes on the first.

I love your find of the Hemitomes. I never get to see any in pictures.

It's not something we see often either, Tindo. This is the only time I've seen it, and it's not even in the wildflower book for Washington that I have. I've added it to the Flickr group. I added a couple of other things as well that you might be interested in.
