Re veiwing the images on mac book pro before actually photograph is taken

Hi,
I have a question ( a silly one) can i connect my mac book pro to my canon 7d dslr and review the image on lap top and make any changes on my camera before i take a photograph?

You can do that on a pc, not sure about the mac. We can control all the settings of our cannon dslr on the pc. I can also control it from my android phone. I would guess there should be some software to do it.

With my 5DmkII I can control it both from Mac and PC. Program came along with the camera on CD. The USB cable was also provided with the original camera package. As the 7D is more recent vintage, this should work no problems.

I also have a Canon dslr, and can control it from the computer, using the software that came with the camera. If it's not working on the mac, go have a look at the canon site, the other day I saw (when looking for something else) that they have mac updates to download. Must be the samr for your camera.

I have Mac and the graphics are delightful. I digitally process and resize my pictures first before I load it to a separate site and then link my pictures here....I see no difference between the Windows or Mac created pictures....but I guess I have an excellent monitor.
