Here are images from my trip to India9 My home Shimoga and Kenangi village with a population of may be less than 200 villagers who work on farm lands.
It beautiful Place heavily forested temperature droping to 9 degrees c.I have no doubt that area has Tigers,leopards and other wild life.
The gentleman that I visited grows Arecanuts,Anthurium
Orchid,Black Pepper and Agar trees on commercial scale.veekay

You stayed in a big mansion ... that will save you from the tigers and leopards...I saw a documentary where the village was eaten by a big tiger one by one until they decided to hunt it down and kill it
