The only thing that was upgraded - flash.
I still didn't have chance to try it in bright and sunny environment, we have pretty gloomy weather since I got it. Even though I read manual to the end and tried to press all the buttons, I still don't dare to do any custom settings except focus when zooming.
The pre-set scenes work great for my purpose for now. I was flipping through them looking at the info screen and noticed that it changes lots of values - aperture, shooter speed, ISO. With my current knowledge on this subject I wouldn't do any better...
