Hey Ron, when you say "D7" do you mean a Nikon D-70? Not to be brain-dead but just asking, cause I did have a D-70 and replaced it with the D-90. White balance is very easy on either as is adjustments for the Kelvin temp of the light.

Sorry, don't know PSElements, I have the other PSE (extended). In full PS, curves is under image-adjustments-curves, basically the same place as levels, but just a different adjustment option.

Just did a quick and dirty google on elements and curves, and what I described does not seem to be possible. Sorry.

Maybe ask Santa for a copy of full PS. Even an older version will give you loads of good options that are way beyond Elements (adjustment layers, Lab, better selection tools, batch processing, better USM, Highlight-Shadows control works wonders). There's gonna be a learning curve, so be prepared to do some reading.

You've got really nice raw shots, so tweaking them to the fullest would be worth while. just my 2c.

Thanks for all the info, Tropt. I'm going to try the white balance thing before my next photo session. I'll let you know how it goes. I don't have PS only Elements and I don't know that there's anything in Elements like you're describing, but then I use it only for some very basic editing.
