I use this combo a lot. I have a D200 and 2 d1Xs and never fail to use this lens sometime during day! If your images aren't sharp, it's not the lens or camera combination! You will have a great combo there dude! Lens will go 1:1 easily (given proper support of camera).

Thanks for the post,I have Nikon F-100 slr ,also have same lens i.e. 60mm f/2.8 auto focus lens but my question is ,can it be used on Nikon dslr cameras?

Veekay, if it's an AF lens, as you stated, then it should work fine on the current Nikon DSLR's. If you are in dought, take it with you to your favorite camera store and mount it on the DSLR that you are looking at buying. A simply test to see if it actually does work.

That's what I like about the Nikon mount system. It is both backward and forward compatible.
