What do you think of these pics?

Edited to add: There is no photoshop. This is how the blooms look in real life. The background is a double layer flat bedsheet.

Hi Melissa,
I like 1, 6 and 7 the best - the others could stand a bit of cropping and in 6 you have the the stake showing, a no-no. It should either be edited out or the photos taken without it. Also, the wrinkles in the sheet are a bit distracting. You can eliminate them by moving the background further away from the flowers (it will then be out of focus and the lines either will not show or will not show as much). You can also eliminate them by having the maid iron them:-)

#7 is by far away the best and can stand on its own -a lovely shot - and you might notice that the lines in the background don't show - that because you're closer to flowers and have a shallower depth of field. I like the background by the way - the color complements the flowers.

Thanks! The last shot of the bunch. Glad I decided to go on manual and zoom in for the shallow DOF.

I agree with Ron - background, while a good colour/lightness for those pictures is a little distracting. Increasing the distance between your subject and the background may be the easiest way to fix this through depth of field.

If it were not for the support #6 would be my favourite, I'd have to say #7 though. In many of the earlier pictures the flowers are too far off to the side of the picture so it doesn't look as balanced as it could.
