So I was trying to get an acurate rendition of my newest orchid, some sort of Dendrobium Norma Jackson. I'm not really sure about this one.
The problem I was having with this particular plant was that the color of the flowers is so deep, dark reddish purple that the camera's meter was totally getting confused. In way too many cases the meter told the flash to really dump it out. The result was way too many over exposed flowers.
But every once in a while the flash had to recharge from it's heavy handed assult on this plant and I ended up with no flash sync and therefore no flash. Some of the results are kind of cool I think.
I guess I like all the soft colors and the motion blurs.
I'm easily amussed I guess.
