Illowa Orchid Society show
I finally got a chance to use a couple of "new toys"!
Last year I started learning to use my grandpa's old Nikkormat. It's 100% manual function - I have a flash for it but no bulb, and it has a light meter but no battery. So a lot of photos don't turn out, and those that do, well, they aren't as great as they could be.
Anyway, I haven't taken out that camera much since December, and so I have a few accessories that got their first real work today: My parents gave me a camera bag and a monopod (I think I like my tripod better, but they both have advantages and disadvantages), and I bought a 200mm lens and a set of macro extender tubes.
So here's some of the better end of today's photos:
(I didn't write down any information regarding whose these are, what they are, or anything else...)
