New D60 Pics
These are my first shots with the new camera the Nikon D60. I have much to improve but for now this is it. A little feedback please and suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Those pics look pretty good for the most part, especially since those are your first pics with the new gadget. The 2nd one looks perfect, you've managed to capture the spots and espec. the color, which I've read is hard to capture blue. The other 2, the color looks good also, but I thought there was some blurriness with the closest parts. I am sure you will be a pro in no time at all! (this opinion coming from someone who is still learning to download pics from a camera onto a computer).

Practice makes perfect!
Your photos already look great. I do see a little blurriness in the first picture but that happens even with the most experienced photographer.
Now I need to know...
what chid is that?

LOL Thanks ladies, the blurriness can be fixed with the tripod or less caffeine? I will get better. I was really trying to get the color down and it took a bunch of shots to get it.

Hey Swamper,
Your pics look great and your Vanda is gorgeous. Do you know her name?
Did you hear the latest findings about caffeine/coffee...the BS about 3 cups or more causing hallucinations? If that were true I'd always be stoned. I've never heard anything so ridiculous in my life. Jitters yes, but hallucinations????

Well, back to work. It's warm enough to pressure wash my back porch today, and there's no excuse not to 'cause my chids are indoors.

Nice pix
I would say, though, that the colors looks too blue -- especially the foliage. Not sure how you'd go about changing that with your camera. Might need to go to an editing program for that.
