After 33 years as an educator, I finally took the plunge and retired in May of 2023. My retirement dream has always been to immerse myself full-time into three passions I've pursued over those years -- nurturing my orchid garden, collecting all things "owl", and, building my repertoire of handcrafted wood, embroidery and paper quilled creations.
It also dawned on me that I have the time and means now to share my love of nature in even more creative ways -- via personal orchid photography. I'm doing that currently by creating one-of-a-kind stationary writing sets for myself, family and friends. The beautiful orchid photographs you see were taken by me in my orchid garden. I personally print the photos on blank notecards and specialty writing papers. That makes my stationary writing sets unique and original. Plus, I'm having so much fun
Orchid photo calendars and coasters are next on my list!
