A small history of my Angraecum
Default A small history of my Angraecum

I had a few issues with this plant which is probably why I have a few more pictures than usual so I thought I'd share my run with an Angraecum Lady Lisa over the period of this year.

Bought at the beginning of the year and left it to settle in.
Unfortunately the crown developed some sticky sap either in my care or before that which glued the top leaves together which started to rot.
By the time I noticed, it looked like the first 2 pictures
I treated the area to stop it spreading but expected it to be dead.

It developed a flower spike in the next 2 pictures.
Then it flowered and filled my whole house with its lovely fragrance for a month.

The flower did start to degrade to a brownish color seen in the next picture but I'm hoping that was just some thrips doing some damage.

But now on to the reason for this joyful post is that surprisingly today I looked at the plant and I could not believe that the plant has developed a new crown seen on the last picture after it had rotted away completely.
