Default just some fun photography

I just took a couple pictures of some of my blooms for my journalism class and decided to post them here too.

The colors show up a bit better on my desktop but I thought it was just fun to share.

The pics are striking but I was unsure what I was seeing

Thanks for the comment, and you didn't ask a bad question. I had to photograph several items in a flat lay (it's just when you arrange several items in a pleasing way on a flat surface and take an image from above), and the green from the leaves would have disrupted the color theme (that sounds so sophisticated lol). I took a couple pictures of just the orchids afterwards for fun. I felt a bit bad about cutting off the flowers, but they were fading anyways.

beautiful composition. The complex and sophisticated orchid blooms against the simple sphagnum moss.
