Just to clarify, I do all of my Flickr additions, deletions and updates from within Lightroom, and not the Flickr user interface.

That's interesting. Where can I find this sync feature? (I'm on Lightroom CC Classic) I recently stopped my flickr pro sbscription, but if I cxan manage my flickr albums from lightroom, I may reconsider. Do you know if the sync works with other photo hosting sites as well?

Camille, This should help you get started:

In LR, go to the Library Module
Publish services on the left side
click the + button and a list of services will show
Select Flickr and enter the required info

Now, under Publish services/Flickr you can add albums, then pictures to those albums. LR will then manage any updates as you so choose. Right click on the albums to see your options.

Let me know how you do, and if you have any Q's.

Soon as I read that they will not take your images away from you and you can safely store them here. They totally lost me!

If you read the terms of service for most free image hosting sites, and probably many of the paid services too, you will find language that gives them the right to use any photo uploaded to their site in any way they see fit.
Since closing my Photobucket account and in my search for a new image hosting site, I haven't found one that doesn't lay claim to equal rights to any pics I upload to their site.
