Phalaenopsis deliciosa
This is one of the mini Phals I got from Dowery Orchids about a month ago or so. It came in double spike and bud and is just now opening up. This has got to be the smallest Phal I have ever seen in my life. No scent yet, and I wonder if I will ever get to experience any scent as I am almost never home.

Tin!
That is one cute little thing you got there! The beginnings of a spike that was on mine aborted shortly after it arrived, so I am living vicariously through you until mine decides to spike again. Thanks for sharing this!!

Hi Tindo! What a little cutie pie! I would love to be let loose in Dowery and/or Big Leaf! Boy the damage I would do to my credit card and the sheer bliss! I tell you, I am getting a rush just thinking of it! ;-)

Oh Tin! It's lovely! It's been on my short list for awhile. There is just something about species phals that I find so charming and interesting. Glad you decided to get that one. I too can live vicariously through your bloom.

That's mini indeed! I have seen it only in pictures... wish I could see it in person!! Nice acquisition, Tindo! It is very difficult finding Phal species here... don't know why!!

The bloom is already beginning to fade. Since I am almost never home, I think that It might have been in bloom since Monday or Tuesday. So I am glad I didn't miss it and recorded it for posterity. And 3 more buds to go. ANd a second spike, yay
Mauro, thanks, I wish my photo skills were as good as yours. But for some reason I could not get a clearer image.

Tin, your photos are fine! They're making all of us
Each time I open this thread, Phal delisiosa gets a little closer to the wish-list!
