Default Introducing Mahina

I've been very much missing having a cat since Jack passed last year on Thanksgiving - A couple of months ago I went to a kitten adoption event held by a local TNR group (trap, neuter, release, as well as other needed vet care, and food for feral cats) Kittens are placed in foster homes for care and socialization, and then up for adoption. I had planned on adopting an adult cat, as I have in the past, but just wanted a feline fix. The woman who runs the organization put this little girl in my arms (about 5 months old at the time), and I held her on my lap for about an hour. We were both quite content that way. So, then the rescues are packing up to leave, and I just didn't want to leave without her ...

She's a very happy and easy going kitty

1: first evening home
2: 4 weeks later, and feeling completely comfortable with her new canine sister, Bella
4: stealing Bella's bed
5,6,7: today's napping cuteness

That a cutie, Sonya.
Did Bella accepted it immediately or it wasn't easy at first?

Oh my...she is precious! We have 2 cats and If it were solely up to me...i know I'd have more kitties running around here.

I love the pic of her and Bella together...both are very cute.

Beautiful kitty! I hope she doesn’t develop a taste for orchids like my cat.
