I'm so sorry about Mr. Jackson. It is never easy to make that decision. You gave him a wonderful life. RIP.

It is so sad. I have one dog who is 15 this year and has lung issues. I tend to think he will be the first to go, and not too long from now. I get teary even thinking about it.

Sorry to hear that.... my sweet dog Maggie passed away few months ago. She had kidney failure. She was almost 16yo.

So, our vet makes house calls. I gave Jack the box from my favorite orange Nikes and put in his favorite mouse. The Chief is burying him in an undisturbed spot. Nathan got to say a good long goodbye and Dolly didn't care. Our family is smaller now, but heaven is Fuller.

Oh...just saw this. My heart goes out to you Carol. Really. I dread even thinking of when my Loki will go. He's always so much trouble, and I love him all the more for it. You were a help to me over a personal loss of my own not long ago, and I want to let you know that I hope one day I can be a help to you...

My little Chihuahua, Carlos (I posted about him above) passed away yesterday at about 7 pm (4/29/18) We buried him in the yard. He was going downhill steadily, mostly breathing problems and an enlarged heart. He was 15 years old. My other dog is looking for him. She will probably miss him more than I will. I will not get another dog.

Oh Optimist, I am so sorry for your loss. I know how much I
love my two dogs Obie and Loki. And I too don't believe that when they go I will get another one. You are in my thoughts...

Optimist, I hurt for you. You've lost someone dear. But, you gave Ollie a great home and you were loved in return as well. However, whenever I say "never," well, you know the rest...
