Dolly's new haircut and clothes
Couldn't we all use a smile this week? Hope this does it. Dolly is very wooly. She hates everything including being brushed and or furminated. Last week she went to the vet for her yearly check up and got her annual "lion cut.' When she sat on my lap, I noticed she was really radiating a lot of heat, so she got a new sweater. I love a new sweater, but she was not pleased...here she is, warm and perhaps mildly happy (she is a Hun after all).

Beautiful girl indeed. But I think radiating heat in August on a very furry pet is a good thing, just sayin'. But you know her best. The pink is quite a fashion statement!

Well, she dwells in a cool room. Losing all that wool must have been a trauma 😄

"Not only did she shave me and make me wear THIS, now she's humiliating me in front of other people!"

Carol, Dolly looks like she wants to scratch your eyes out.

Poor thing. Pet clothes are so cute but our beloved furry family members do not always appreciate them. When the children were younger, they always tried to get our beloved Eskie to wear Halloween costumes or a Santa hat for Christmas. I think we have one photo of her wearing a light cape but the rest were shed before any photos could be taken. I noticed that my daughter is going to get a costume for her Westie. I wonder how that will go.... :|

She is a beautiful cat, by the way.

Years ago I put a fireman's hat on Moment, my mini Schnauzer. It stayed on just long enough to capture the most amazing disgust I've ever seen on a mammal's face, human or other.

She doesn't scratch, no weapons
..but, she was annoyed. So, it's either a lion cut and a sweater, or hunks if fur everywhere. She is a shedding machine. She's being a good sport today.

Does her tail have a lion tuft on the very end?
