Thanks! I think there is a time elapsed vidio, or group of photos for starlings. (There is even an international forum for Starlings as pets). Crows, Mynahs, and a few more larger passerines or corvids are often pets through "saving" or through sales. Obviously more rare than the parrots. And to tell the truth, I have always wanted a crow, but would never be able to come up with the 2000 or so dollars, and they are massive.

This little guy, since I first found him on the ground has gotten much more feathers. He is also more active, and his eyes are more open. He still cannot stand as of yet. He's a big messy eater. I am glad I am in school and unemployed at the moment.

Crows! We have a murder of crows that visit our yard and gardens several times a day. They are massive but awesome to watch. They amaze me when they perch themselves at the top of a tree as if they weigh nothing at all. They are fun to watch!

Well, firstly, I appreciate your kind heart. When you try to live in harmony with flora, fauna, and land, you take a somewhat different perspective. That being said, I agree with Subrosa (mostly). However, we feed black squirrels, have rescued baby crows, and taken hummingbirds to the vet. There are so many variables to rescue and balance of invasive species vs native. I have seen house sparrows peck female bluebirds to death on the nest. I can't judge you but, I do recognize kindness and compassion. Thank you for caring.

Leafmite, ditto on the Robins.

Kind of off topic, but some crows will bring you gifts if you give them treats. They have also been found to recognize faces. They are pretty fantastic birds.

The chick-a-dees and white-breasted nuthatches seem to yell at me when the feeder is empty. The nuthatches are the funniest with their little "meeh meehs."
