Thing 1 and 2
My dogs, like my " 'chids" (the Orchid hoard) hold a very dear place in my life. However, all of the above know exactly how to irritate me😱😝
My furbabies are Capone (also known as meathead or "The Tank") who at best guess is a Mastiff/Chow/Akita, eventually I'll have a blood test run for his genetics. My little girl dog is Daisy Mae, Al Capone's wife's name was Mae, and since we got the puppy for Capone we thought it was apt!! They are pretty much inseparable so it worked perfectly, although she annoys the dickens out of him😋 Daisy is a German Shepard/Border Collie & Golden retriever/Cocker Spaniel mutt 😍
Having trouble with the photos in here, I'll add a comment with photos!!

Beautiful dogs! The one reminds me of a Great Dane. Dogs certainly keep life interesting (and infinitely fun!).

Thank you😄 he doubles as a horse like a Great Dane, but I think he's too short and thick. Then again, I could be wrong and will only know when I get a blood DNA Sample run for him.
Daisy really keeps things interesting, she will come tell me I've had enough time with my plants and need to play with her lol. Generally with grumbling and the back of my legs being swatted, or she's known to just grab my hand and lead me out of the room lol. 😍😍

Adorable! I've only lived with small dogs but dream of something large one day. That's one happy bunch-TY!

Your dogs are beautiful! Capone reminds me a bit of my dog Sully (my avatar) who is a mix of Great Dane and Sharpei. Dogs do so very much for us and all they ask for is a pat on the head and a bowl of food. I know that yours are great friends!

I love little dogs for the fact that they don't squish you or your toes, and when playing it doesn't hurt as bad when they bite😂😂
Having large dogs we rough house pretty hard, Capone has finally learned with a puppy real bites hurt every body. He has switched over to flea biting me and Daisy when we play, let me tell you it doesn't hurt as bad, and it is the FUNNIEST actions I have ever seen a huge (he's almost 100 pounds) dog do 😂😁

Sully is cute!! Dogs are incredibly intuitive creatures, it's no wonder they were so easily humanized 😀

Is that really all your dogs ask? My dogs have always been a bit more demanding. I love them but they can be rascals. :|

Nice dogs! Fateisinmyhands, your female reminds me very much of a smaller version of one of my childhood dogs. Jkofferdahl, I've seen your avatar many times and wondered about your dog's breed(s). I can definitely see it now!
I'll share the fact that I too am a dog person. I can't imagine life without dogs. Mine are my reason for getting up each morning. (Quite literally, since they sleep in my room and remind me when breakfast time is approaching!) Seriously, though, they enrich my life in so many ways.
I currently have two Dobermans, Logan, an 8-year-old male, and Natasha, an almost-10-year-old female. They love each other and it is so fun to watch them play.
It's so cool that the Orchid Board has a section for pet discussion. Now if I could only convince my dog training board that they need a section on orchids!

OK, I kinda lied. They also want pets, the opportunity to go outside, walks, bowls of clean water, toys, playtime with me, trips to the vet, heartworm pills, and a world of other stuff. Still, having raised a clutch of human children I'll always argue that dogs are far easier, and while not ALWAYS as rewarding they are always really, really close. Plus, I've been physically attacked by a stepson but NEVER by a dog.
See my sig line for life's details.
