I have a fake little pond (a rubber maid type horse trough). I have put some Louisiana iris in in. I have had that Iris for only one season, but you would not believe how much that clump has grown! I have now invested in some hostas and keep it in a shady location so that birds can have a drink. I wish I could have some Koi, but they do grow large, and the pond is not deep enough to overwinter there.
