I'm so sorry to hear about your loss of Lilly. She was such a big, fluffy ball of sweetness! ES, you are such a good person to have fostered her these last several years. The seniors are so very special. I'm sure her time with you was filled with love and contentment. Run free at the Rainbow Bridge, Lilly........

Plus Lilly is the most wonderful, happy and friendly dog you will ever meet. She has mothered my own two Giant Schnauzer boys since they were puppies. They are 4 years old now. She pushes them down and cleans their faces. If they try to get up and leave, she growls at them and pushes them down again.

I'm sorry I missed this last time around! Lilly of the Valley is a delight. Thank you for all you give to dogs.

A job and life done well by you both. I am sad for your loss ES. I've experienced it too and it lasts far too long.

Awww...I am so very sorry for your loss. I've been through it many times and, as you know, it is never without complete heartbreak to say our goodbyes, when that time comes. Take some comfort in knowing that you gave Lilly a beautiful, love filled life her last few years.

I'm so sorry about your loss.
Every day with a dog is a gift. I feel this is especially true with elderly dogs (I have two). I am sure that Lilly thought that every day with you was a gift. I am glad for both of you that her life was good until the end.

Adorable! We had a standard Schnauzer growing up. So much personality! So much energy! Our next fur child will be adopted. So many at shelters looking for a home.

Fragile Circle
We who choose to surround ourselves
with lives even more temporary than our
own, live within a fragile circle;
easily and often breached.
Unable to accept its awful gaps,
we would still live no other way.
We cherish memory as the only
certain immortality, never fully
understanding the necessary plan.
