It occured to me that I had shared info about my rescued kitten Luna, but had never shown pictures of my 2 dogs (I think, anyway). I found these pictures, taken when I had a camera that actually worked!
This is Carlos, the Chihuahua. He was once a breeding dog, kept in a cage all day. They got rid of him at the tender age of 1 because he was a cryptoorchid, and they did not want that gene to carry on. He is a really good example of a chihuahua, though now he is 13 years old and fat and can't walk very well.
This is Giselle, my IG (Iggy is an Italian Greyhound). She was on her way to the dog pound after a pet store could not sell her because she was totally frantic, and screamed and kicked whenever anyone pick her her up. She was terrified of all people. I got her through a rescue. She was so frightened of all people and dogs that she would pee, defecate, shake and scream. She is now 9 years old and does well with all people and dogs, (and cats) but it took years to get her to that point.
