Beautiful bird, what kind is it? I know nothing about birds, but it looks like she's ready to take a bite and I bet that would hurt!

She's a Blue Throated Macaw, and I trust her completely. Like all parrots she uses her beak like we use our hands, but she knows how hard she can bear down on different parts of me.

She's 7, and I've had her since she was on two feedings a day as a baby.

Aw how cute. I love her. I would love to have a parrot but I fear the dogs would do it in.

Lost a Red Lored Amazon that I'd trade my truck to get back to a dog. But Bella was raised at the same time I had my Anatolian, Washington as a pup. Washington used to lick the excess food off of Bella when I was hand feeding her. I should get a pic of her riding him.
