Oh what a wonderful picture. I love pictures like this specially since I never get to see them here in the city. Ray I am sorry Hobbs got hurt. I am glad he is doing better and is home now. Give him a gentle hug and kiss for me.

Thank you
Here's another one for you. This one is my favorite even though the quality is poor. It was taken with my phone through a window at full zoom but I just love the illusion of a two headed deer

I saw you have a dexter, I have a Dexter too. He is a black and tan mini dachshund. He is a mess but I love him! We don't see many deer around here but get smaller critters the pack loves to harass and chase.

How in the world did you get the 2 headed deer? Cool.
Stinking Richter killed a baby bunny today, what to do, what to do.

There were actually about 5 of them back there that day and I just happened to get a shot of those 2 standing side by side. Here's the shot I snapped a few seconds later.
Awwww Poor bunny. I'd suggest you bury it but I know if I tried that my dogs would just dig the poor thing back up

I too have a mini dachshund, Max. They are fearless dogs for sure. He rules our 100 pound GSD. Glad Hobbes is ok. We used to have deer in the yard until we got Fritz (the GSD). Now my plants are left alone.

A friend at church raises Irish Deerhounds. They have a very tall fence to keep all animals out of the yard, or the dogs would drag home the deer.
I'd like to borrow one right now...

Here's my deer deterrent, Washington the Anatolian shepherd dog. He's about 31" at the shoulder:

How exciting for Dexter! It's great you were able to get a pic of the encounter!
