One smart tricolor! Lucky you.

Good it recovered safely in the middle of nowhere, as car hitting can be bad and issues can take a few days to appear.

Don't be desperate on the socializing issue, it trusts you, it may trust others but it'll need time and confidence, don't force and maybe others will be able to touch it if it wants to. It may not be feral, but had a terrible life before plus trauma, identify if something upset it really (like dogs, agressive guy, loud noise…) and avoid them in its environment, and it'll grow happier.

And they can send back affection to you by multiples for it. You won your karma that day!

Thank you all! There are many strays here in this little area. People do not have the money to spay or neuter because the veterinarians charge too much. The pounds do not even take cats because there are too many. Feline leukemia and other diseases are epidemic. So yeah, she is lucky someone found her, and took her in and took her to the vet. She is still a tiny cat. At approximately 9 months she is no more than 5 pounds. She's also long and skinny like a ferret. You can tell she is a Turkish angora cat. For some reason, there are Turkish angoras all over the place here. My brother's last cat was a stray Turkish angora that he found. So all I can say is what every one else says. Adopt! Spay or Neuter!

Anyway, as far as the stitches. Its the 3rd day now, and I will see what it looks like in 10 days.

Here is a picture of Luna at 9 months.

It is very good camoflauge. Expert Level. She can sit in a pile of wood-chips and never be seen. My brother thought she was fairly ugly when I first got her. She looked like his mottled brown man-cave carpet. I really like the tortie-tude though. You can see the, "get that camera out of my face" thing going on.

So happy she is still doing well. I also take out my dogs stitches. I live out of town and I don't want to have to take them back. I know it is easier with a dog though. I just take hold of the knot and pull it up a bit then clip right under it. I do use a nail clipper but that is because I don't have a good small size-rs.

I think I will do okay. I'll need to find my reading glasses. I have always been good with fine work. I think there are only 2 or 3 stitches.

Hi there DeaC, thank you for checking out my flickr photos. There is a group on FB called The International Neofinetia Group created by Craig Gibbon. Hope you are able to join and enjoy the posts.

Optimist, Luna's coloring is gorgeous. Not to mention her kitty hair looks really soft. Like, Pantene hair commercial soft.
