Default Butterfly rest-stop

I don't know if you could call this little guy my pet but it does show up evey year. It is a Red Admiral butterfly, and he shows up about mid-summer for about a week or so and only comes out in late afternoon and then follows me around the yard zooming past my head and then landing on me. I'm sure my yard is just one stop in his migration. Here is what he looks like but i didnt take the pic.

He quite unique looking. I love butterflies and try to plant stuff in the yard to draw them and the hummers.

Perhaps he thinks you are a plant? Very cool!
