Oh goodness you would love our tuxedo cat Stanley then. At around 5 years old he is as wild and bad as a kitten still and no sign of changing any time soon. He's the one that chews many of my orchid leaves so I need to put cayenne pepper on the tips of them when I bring them in to enjoy blooms.

LOL! Yeah, he's my kind of cat!! I need my pets to make me laugh and to be just a little obnoxious.

My cat is sweet, and weird. He chews on me if I stop petting him before he's done, but even as a geriatric cat, he runs around like a youngster if you break out a catnip mouse.

My daughter rescued him in February. She went to one of the not good shelters with a friend and got suckered. They fed her this sob story about how he had been at the shelter for two years because his owner had died and was on the euthanasia list, then she gets him home after begging me not to kick her out for adopting a cat without permission because she couldn't leave him there to die, and I read his intake form. He'd only been at the shelter for a week. He was picked up as a stray. Had probably been an outside cat most of his life.

He was loved by someone once though and is so grateful to be loved again that I'm totally ok with what my daughter did now. If she does it again, we will exchange words, but he needed to be loved. There's no shortage of love in this house.

This one was a bonus that came along with a stray we took in. We just found her a home:

I love reading about all of the animals who are so loved by members of this forum!

And my kitties are undercover trouble makers, they only make ruckus when we're sleeping or out of the house! Lol! My mastiff regulates their behavior during the day and he has learned how to open our sliding doors to let the cats out! They are strictly indoor cats, so we've installed extra locks the dog can't reach. So I have several furry trouble makers.

What a cute kitten Subrosa!

My two dogs are the biggest troublemakers I've had so far. They're labs, so I think it's normal for the breed for them to be hooligans while they are young, but my yellow dog Lexi is the biggest trouble maker of the two and she's 8. You'd think an 8 year old dog would be at least somewhat past the age of playing tug with socks.

If we didn't already have 3 I'd have definitely kept her! With a face like that she could have paid for the food for the rest of my zoo!

random, i can tell you without a doubt that labs will stay puppies forever

My labX is 11, and still a puppy most days. Have you ever seen a kitten walk sideways all puffed up? That was kirby...only bigger, faster with less puffy-ness...around the table, aroudn the island round thru the living room/hallway and back out the door. 10 mins later he was sitting there looking at me asking for more supper!

I've owned Labs for nearly twenty years. There's puppy behavior and then there's Lab puppy behavior. The two are not the same. Lab puppies are like normal puppies on speed. LOL!

Random, very true! My rat terrier keeps up nicely with my labX tho! The rattie is still a puppy after 13 years

But you must admit, there is nothing sweeter then a lab puppy

I've never had the pleasure of having a sweet lab puppy. In my experience, Lab puppies are evil sharks who have teeth made of needles that like to pierce skin. They don't get sweet until they're past that whole, "I want to eat everything." phase.

You know those pics of Lab puppies kissing people's faces? I've always thought that they drugged the puppy, or took the pic after the puppy had passed out after eating a wall. LOL!
