And Some More of My Pets

Okay, here are some more of my pets. The outside pets.
The first is our morgan "Chico".
The 2nd is "Abby" she is a miniature 28".
The 3rd is "Amber" also a miniature 32".
The 4th is "Sophie" also a miniature. Haven't measured her lately but approx. 29-30". Will be measuring her this summer for her registration papers.
The 5th is "Brio". He's the little stallion. Will also be measuring him this summer for his registration papers as well, but he's approx. 28-29".
And yah, they are all a little too well taken care of.

Out of curiosity, are such mini's any more or less prone to ailments that afflict equines in general?

Are there any ailments that mini's tend to suffer from that their normal sized counterparts don't (or vice versa)?

In general miniatures are prone to the same ailments that affect their larger counterparts. Although they are prone to put on weight very easily. I'm sure they can gain weight just by smelling hay.

They are very cute little things. You obviously show them as I see the ribbon. We had a Shetland pony when I was a kid. They sure can be nasty little things at times, but sure make you tougher. He of course was not as small as the miniatures.

You just don't see the regular ones anymore.
