Anybody else keep Leopard Geckos?

This is squints! She is a juvenille Leopard Gecko

She sure is pretty. What type of housing does she require?

I house her and an adult male in this 18x18x18 exo terra terrarium. While this set up is kind of "fancy", Leopard Geckos are very easy to care for and can be housed in a basic 10 gallon terrarium, provided that heat and shelters are provided

I've got a couple of tree frogs, But I want some gecks.
Hubby say's .. NO! I don't want those getting out and crawling on me! What a big baby, ha ha!

Hi there,
Squints is beautiful. I have "Buddy", the leopard gecko and "Anna", a fat tailed gecko. Two months ago I bought an oscillating skink, that one is named "Merlot". Anna is the oldest, she is almost 6 years old. Very easy to take care of. Buddy has alittle tangerine color in his/her tail. Right now they are in the orchid room, while their room gets new rugs and a paint job. They love the warmth and enjoy the early sun. Wish there was enough room to house them in there but too many orchids.

Hi,I think squints is pretty looking and I only have 1 and his/her name is Stinger. didnt get him/her to long ago but hes/shes a fun pet

I have two leopard geckos (supposedly both females). They are both pretty and one has alot of tangerine coloring through her body. Both of them look very healthy as their tails are very fat! I have had them about 3+ years.

Has anyone ever seen any bubbling type growth under their armpit area? Mine both have it in the front, but the breeder said just mist them extra. They seem to stay there, but haven't appeard the harm them any...just wondering if anyone else has ever seen it.

I also have a ball python about 4 and 1/2 feet long. He has always been very good, but the last time I took him out to feed he bit me and then "strangled" my wrist for about 5-10 minutes while I tried to be calm. Finally let go and I took over 2 weeks to heal up! Brat! I have to feed him again this week

Sorry if I "hijacked". Your gecko looks very pretty. I am not sure if this is true, but have heard you cannot house 2 males together so if you get a friend make sure it is the right sex.

Well Leos can't climb glass or jump so unless you have a rough surface that they can climb to get to the top of the tank your hubby would have nothing to worry about

Never heard of that. Don't see how misting would make a difference. Check w/ the folks on kingsnake.com and see what they say.

Odd behavior for a ball. I would suspect that perhaps either:

1) you waited too long between feedings and he was too hungry; or

2) that you had handled his prey or another animal he associates with prey and didn't wash your hands clean before handling him.
