Yes, I think I am guilty of both of those things with the ball. He is actually hungry again and I am a bit afraid to feed him, but it must be done.

I have.... two leopard geckos. One is a ron tremper albino and the other is a blizzard (all white). they are both females. I don't see any bubbling. ?. Sorry I can't help in that department. I house mine in a 29 gallon tank. I also have a five foot long iguana who romes the house. He is potty trained and loves to lay on my couch.

The striped one is the ron tremper and the grayish looking one is the blizzard. unfortunately, they do not get along and the tremper bit the blizzard in the head. I told my husband not to leave them alone as they were getting acquanted... but thats another thread.

Awww...they are so cute. I guess I will have to take some pics and post them too. I will include a pic of the bubbling.

I don't know when it happened or why, but they have had a little bubble under their skin in the armpit area. I didn't think it had anything to do with moisture either but I just tried what the breeder said and it didn't make a difference. I am wondering if it is just somethign in their genes as they are from the same parents.

Anyway, everyone's leopard geckos are so cute! I might have to show mine some pictures.

those little bubbles in their armpits are either calcium or fat storage spots. i believe it's calcium but not 100% positive. they are however completely normal and, in fact, a sign of good husbandry.

I can't belive you can potty train a 5' Iguana, that's amazing. Im sure it was trained while under a foot but its still amazing to me. I love iguanas, i wish I could get one but I'd have to move out.

Dr. frnkblck, thanks for letting me know. If I had to guess between calcium or fat I would say it must be fat as their tails are very fat and they are probably storing more fat somewhere else now! HAHA... Either way, I am glad to know that means I am taking good care of them! Thanks again!

Swamper, I have sen iguana running around up here (only twice), so maybe you could keep one outside? JK...I am pretty sure someone had released the ones I saw. I tried to catch it, but they sure are fast! Darn!

Jenn I was actually thinking of something like that for outside. If they can be potty trained then why not train them to be like an outside cat. Then I read they love to eat orchids. There ended my research. Ill just watch them crossing the streets around here.

iguanas are really smart. and stubborn. if you keep them well fed, they won't venture to your plants. i came home to a money plant half eaten today because my husband forgot to feed him. my iggy will wait on the counter for me because he knows thats where i prepare the food. i wouldn't keep one outside- mites and parasites make iguanas very ill. i have watched animals cops in florida and have seen them rescue iguanas from fences.
