They are all darling and so lucky to have been adopted into a wonderful loving home. My kitty's name is also Pumpkin.

Oh what cute kids you have. Thank you also for rescuing. They look very happy. Hows Ginny doing in her new home? It sometimes takes a while before they are themselves after all the changes.

Pumpkin may eat orchids but Riley loves them. Is your mini phal one of those just add ice ones. I have 2 of those and got one for my sister and 1 for my mom.

What lovely little beasties! I can't have kitties because of allergies but I do love them so much (yeah, unfair world). Yours are both gorgeous. Thanks for rescuing them...I know so many kitties need homes.
Your dog is adorable. What a treasure to have rescued. Your pets are all very fortunate.
Don't always blame the cats for the destruction of plants. One of our dogs has destroyed a few of my orchids, the other only goes after every ti plant I have ever tried to grow...every ti plant. And our rabbit and guinea pigs were always so good with the house plants....

Haha, yes Pumpkin does munch on them :P Good memory
And whenever I put the orchids in a sunny spot near the door, Riley immediately curls up with them like in the picture. It's like his own tropical oasis? Hehe

Ginny is ok. She's a good dog, but she has been having accident issues. She was part of a breeding/hoarding situation previously so she's not entirely house broken and lives in her crate. We have to remember to put a doggy diaper on her when she's going to be free in the house for longer than 5 minutes.
She also goes in her crate. She didn't for the first couple of months, but now she does. vet ruled out health problems and thinks its because we got her a big crate and that made it so she could go in one spot and lay down nice and clean in the rest of the cage. He also thinks its stress. Like most of the time she's fine, but for example, we had my parents visit for a couple days and day after they left she started pooping all over her crate again (which is now reduced to a small area and no bed per vet instructions).
Just have to go with the flow and I'm hoping she learns no one is going to harm her and that visitors aren't supposed to be stressful and will be around here and there occasionally.
Other than all that, she is so happy. She wants to launch herself at our faces and give kisses with her stinky mouth. Lol and by "launch" I am not exaggerating. We try to keep her from doing it tho bc it hurts us bc she'll accidentally bite your nose or something cuz she's sailing into your face with her mouth open. Hahaha

Yes, the mini is a Just Add Ice. My first Orchid that I got last November when my pet bunny died. It was tragic.
It is going on 6 leaves! I'm glad I'm not adding ice any more! I finally repotted into a yogurt cup the other day because it's original "pot" wasn't draining even with the holes I attempted to cut into it.

My hubby and I are both a little allergic to cats, but it seems to act up when there is also pollen in the air like it just aggregates other allergies. I have eliminated litter and that also seems to help. I know most people are allergic to their saliva and/or dander, but the litter dust- especially scented kind- adds just one more layer of allergens.

Novel. Sorry. Haha

Sadly it takes some of them a long time to get over thee issues. And she will probably never get over all of them, that's not a good place to have been. Turtle was an absolute syco when I brought her home. I wasn't sure I was going to make it. My 2 other bassets I had at the time, sisters from different litters, were my loves.

Finally one day my dear husband say's to me if you can't stand it then get rid of her. Ok that's when my stubbornness kicks in. She really is like a new dog even if I will never have the same feelings for her as I did them. I felt very guilty for a while I couldn't even admit it but I have gotten over it. We give her a good home exercise, love now dame if I I can just get her ears cleared up.

Good luck on your girl and I hope you can get her over her problems.

Dachshunds are never fully house trained. I think that it has to do with the fact that their bladders are just so small or maybe to do with their way their bodies are shaped. You could try training her to use a potty pad though, instead of having to diaper her, and I have heard of people that have litter box trained their doxies too. So those might be options for you.

Ginny sure is a cutie. I love her face! She looks like a very happy girl.

Thank you for saving lives and choosing to rescue! I love your little fur family and it sounds like they have found the perfect home with you.

You are all very sweet.
I love my "babies"

So like... Wanna know something CRAZY? (And TMI)
... I trained my cats to potty on the toilet.
I plan to blog about it one day (if I ever get my blog started). Maybe I will link on here if anyone is interested.
I'm allowed link to stuff right?
Anyway, now you guys know I've lost some marbles. ;P
