Finally introducing my dogs
So I am a bit nuts and use to donate time to the local animal shelter. After I lost my last 2 basset hound girls I went a bit nuts. The Turtle which is my basset hound now I did have for about 4 years while I had my girls.
Then I got my Bullmastiff Marlo, she is the only dog I have right now that is not from the shelter.
Richter the Pit Bull was first brought in by ACO and they wanted to kill him said he was mean, he is not but he is allot of dog. He went finally to a new home then after a year came back that is when he came to live with us. And he sleeps with us.
Last but certainly not least is Maddie she is our 13 year old basset hound/red bone mix. We fostered her when she was about a 1 1/2 and then I found her a home just to have them dump her at the shelter after 9 years. She was in the shelter for over a month when I told my husband I was going to get her. We just love her to death.
Here's the kids.

Hit the wrong button, I'll try again. This only seems to let me upload a few at a time.

What a beautiful pack! Your pittie looks like a big love. I'd like to sit down on the couch and have a snuggle with all of your dogs!
And may I say, on behalf of everyone who believes in adopting instead of shopping, thank you for choosing to rescue!
All three of my furkids are rescues. I've rescued Labs for gah... I don't wanna say how long, I'll date myself.

Thank you, we think there wonderful but the Schwan man didn't think Maddie was so cute when she bit him. Naughty old dog. People are always looking at the pit bull and thinking he's mean when in truth it is thee old hound dog.

Well Richter is not to content right now as he want's me to get up and take him out. Yes it's funny not Turtle maybe but no one wanted Richter and Maddie so we got them. We wouldn't part with either of them. Even with the wort's.
Really he wasn't going to stay we were just going to foster him, he is a foster failure.

I know just what you mean. We had the same thing with our german shepherd and chow chow. The shepherd had such a big bark that scared people, but he was such a big loving goof ball who wouldn't hurt anybody. The little chow looked sweet and cute, and did not bark all that much, but she was the one who would sneak up and get you when you were not looking.
They certainly do have their own personalities.

Yes it's funny how the ones that look so innocent there the ones to look out for. Like little dogs now some of those can be pills.

Well I can go down to this reservoir so Richter can go swimming. As you can see he loves it and, makes for a happier me if he uses up some of that energy. We live close the the Big Horn Mountains and do get up there some times but where we live it is bare and desolate.
I have to water my yard and trees constantly in the summer. Watering the garden right now before the wind starts blowing.

Thank you. I have to work pretty hard on them because we have a few problems. Turtle and Marlo both have allergies and I am once again having major problems with her ears. I just can't get them cleared up. I call her my $5000 dollar dog. They are both fed raw and when I changed Marlo over I have not had any more problems with her.
The Turtle is another story but that ones too long. I will say she brought some of it on herself.
Maddie has problems with her back end, feeling in her hind legs. Trying some new things on both of them, keeping my fingers crossed.
