Does he look full? It's because he just ate a healthy tasting of leaf tips! Out of my 80+ orchids, my cats only go after my Lc. Betty Ford 'York'!

Could something tasty have been sprayed on those leaves? Adorable kitty. My furbaby always left one toothmark in every new plant I brought in until I moved them out of his reach.

I never thought about something being sprayed on the leaves, what a good thought! I only acquired the plant at the end of March, so the vendor could have sprayed something that is tasty to him on the leaves!

Most of my orchids are summering outside too. A few are in the solarium with all the doors open, they're waiting for their new shelving to be set-up outside. The solarium is a favorite spot for my cats and dogs, so in the winter a lot of my plants fall victim to tails and I end up repoting early!

Cute kitty! Perhaps the plant was fertilized with fish emulsion. I bought a bottle of that stuff some years ago for my garden plants. The first (and last) application attracted skunks that night, so I gave the stuff away. =P

Awe! Poor Yoda, my dad calls him fang and now he's getting dissed on orchid board! He'll probably cure his sorrows by eating more of my orchid!

I have a friend who had a large orchid collection. She was going to open a shop and sell them, but when she went away for a weekend her cat got mad at her and destroyed every last orchid! I guess you are lucky he just nibbled.
