Baby Ducks!

Ducks are soooo cute ...They will follow you around too like puppy dogs and qwack for food. Heck they qwack for just about anything really. I just love little animals..and for all you squirrel haters, please dont hate squirrels!!!

Poor little ducks, I love ducks we use to go get them at the carnival when I was a kid. How are they doing now.

I want some call ducks.

No excuse for USPS to allow that to happen. I would have been furious! Beyond furious! I can't imagine any of my little pets suffering such a fate.
The ducklings are beautiful. I raised a pair of Peking Ducks when I was a child and they were such loyal companions, beautiful creatures.

Cute squirrel!
We have a robo hamster right now. Very cute. Can't take a picture of her because she is afraid of the camera and hides when she sees it. Of course, she looks just like most other robo hamsters....

Oh I was mad enough... I did get a big free box of replacement ducklings.

Unfortunately about 6 weeks ago a fox or mama raccoon got in and killed every duck in a period of less than an hour. Except for one. Guess which one? Lucky... Mad doesn't begin to express it. If the damn beast had bothered to eat at least a couple of them that would have been somewhat less bad (everybody has to eat...).

I do have new friends for Lucky in the SuperMax Duck Protection Facility (which was a few days from being completed at the time of the duckopalypse). Totally enclosed, buried fence, electrically charged, and seriously over-engineered.

I'm so sorry that is terrible poor little ducks. Lucky sure is lucky he must have 9 lives. They don't just want to eat them they like the killing.

Sorry but that's the way most things kill if they have the opportunity. They always like to tell you oh they only kill to eat and they kill the sick and old. Well BS, when we had the ducks when I was a kid we put them in the sheep shed for the winter. One night a mink got in and killed all but one before my dad found them I think we had 7 at the time.

But he also paid with his life.
