I would do the elimination test - take away one food item for a week and see how her body responds. It could be the meat.
Um Dorothy? She doesn't really have gas, per se' but seems to be mimmicking someone? I don't have a clue where she learns all this stuff.

Gin, Bird is the same way. She isn't a big sweet eater, though. But if we go out...she's looking for Her treat as soon as we come home.

Fab bird DebsC!!

I'm glad to hear that Im not the only one with a bird that doesn't want to eat his veggies and fruits...He's on a pelleted diet, but does get 50% fruits/veggies...meaning, I give them to him...and he looks at them LOL.....Im hoping that as he gets older, he'll want to eat them more...He only eats peas and corn at the moment...maybe a bit of carrot.....again, he too LOVES sunflower seeds and seeds in general....so he gets those only as treats.... love the pic of her sitting in your son's cap..too cute....

My grey, Louie, will eat almost anything you put in front of him. He eats vegetables daily, and also fruit. He has a pellet diet also and if he's good then some seed on occaision. He's definitely NOT a picky eater, and it's probably because he's trusted me to feed him since I weaned him years ago. Typical of most greys, he sings and talks like crazy with the most amazing ability to create interesting sounds. His latest one is a car alarm, and of course running water and the telephone ring.

They are incredible animals.......

A friend of mine had an African Gray named Oscar. Oscar rang like the telephone but only one ring. Nobody at their house ever picked up the phone on the first ring because they were never sure if it really was the phone or Oscar. He would also call the kids in my friends voice. He could also play dead. If you pointed your finger at him and made a gun sound he would lay down and roll over on his back with his feet up in the air. It was hilarious.

They're very cool birds.
